1. ORGANIZATION AND STRUCTURE

The creation of Écotech Québec is the result of sustained efforts and strategic reflection of several business leaders and organizations that saw the need for a unified approach to make Québec a cleantech leader.

The Conférence Régionale des Élus (CRÉ) de Montréal and several business leaders brought together the following organizations to create Québec's first Cleantech Cluster:

  • City of Montréal

Launched in March 2009, the Cleantech Cluster, now known as Écotech Québec, further unified its operations when it moved into its offices in the World Trade Centre of Montréal in August 2010. Today it counts  450 members.
